I am a doctoral student working towards my Ph.D. in mathematics education. I received my bachelors of science in mathematics from the University of Arkansas. For my research, I like to focus on math anxiety and how to overcome it. I have two dogs who take up most of my free time, be it taking them for walks or to the dog park.

Math at first seems very rigorous and straight forward. However, there is never just one way to solve a problem. Finding the quickest and easiest way to solve a problem is very rewarding. As well, math is one of the oldest studies in our history! To actively build upon knowledge that has been growing for hundreds of thousands of years is incredible!
