Layla Guyot is a second-year PhD student in Mathematics Education at Texas State University with particular interests in Statistics Education. She has a master's degree in Applied Probabilities and Statistics from Université de Lorraine, France and undergraduate degrees in pure Mathematics and Physics. Layla Guyot has worked as a statistician for two years after completion of her master's degree in two different fields: banking and clinical studies. She is now interested in bringing real life statistics into her classroom and investigating curriculum development for undergraduate statistics courses.
