Texas State Students Present at the Symposium for Undergraduate Research Exploration 2018
The Symposium for Undergraduate Research Exploration in the College of Natural Sciences (SURE in CNS) at UT Austin invites students from other campuses to share research here and learn about graduate program offerings. The 2018 symposium focused on physical sciences, computer science and mathematics research, and was held October 4-5 in Austin, Texas.
Texas State undergraduate students participated in research under the supervision of Dr. Daniela Ferrero and were selected to present at the symposium. They are shown here (from left to right): Elizabeth Wrightsman, Claudia Gasponi, Hayley Boynton and Ram Moore. Elizabeth Wrightsman was selected to presented a poster and Hayley Boynton to give a talk about their results on hamiltonian cycles in tripartite graphs (joint work with Juan Aguilar and John Rayha) done for Math 4336 Spring 2017, while Claudia Gasponi and Ram Moore presented a poster on tours on a toroidal chessboard done for Hon 2308B.
