Zhaochen Song has a Master in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Texas State University. He has interests in teachers' pedagogical content knowledge and comparative studies in mathematics education between China and U.S. Zhaochen works for the Department of Mathematics as Teaching Assistant. He is currently working on his dissertation which investigate the difference in teachers' pedagogical content knowledge between China and U.S. with the influence of their cultural beliefs towards teaching.
