Erika Gallo has a B.S. in Mathematics from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, TX, as well as a B.A. in Philosophy. She is currently earning her Masters of Science in Pure Mathematics here at Texas State University. She is currently employed at Texas State as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, serving as a lab instructor in Pre-Calculus. Her mathematical interests include, but are not limited to, mathematical philosophy, numerical analysis, and mathematical programming. She has given multiple research presentations, including "The Philosophy of Mathematics," and "The Accuracy of a Modified Laplace Decomposition Method in Solving Higher-Order Integro-Differential Equations." She hopes to continue research at Texas State.
