Enes Akbuga is a PhD student in Mathematics Education at Texas State University where he teaches and does research. He received a B.S. in Mathematics Education from Hacettepe University. During his undergraduate, Mr. Akbuga worked as a secondary school teacher at several institutions and tutored K-12 students in Turkey. Mr. Akbuga has taught several undergraduate mathematics courses at Texas State University working as a Doctoral Teaching Assistant. His research interests include studying STEM major students within mathematics setting and exploring these students’ motivation and interest in calculus courses.
