Research Interests:

Mathematics Education

Dr. Patschke attended Texas State University receiving a BS in Education in 1962, and a Masters in Mathematics in 1965. He was an instructor at Tyler Junior College in Tyler from 1965 to 1980. While working there he attended Texas A&M University to obtain a Ed. D. in 1976.
From 1980 to 1999, he worked at Bankers Systems Inc., where he was promoted to Senior Accountant Executive and District Manager. From 2001 to 2004, he taught mathematics at Austin Community college. In 2004 he began teaching mathematics at Texas State University.
