Professor Hazlewood received his Ph.D. from Syracuse University in 1971. Currently, Dr. Hazlewood's work consists of porting LiDIA's C++ libraries to both Mac and PC, and developing an interface so that these results can be used easily from the front-end of the computer algebra system Mathematica. These libraries provide an 800% increase in factorization speed for large integers. Also we have a current port of the package miracl for both PC and Mac that uses the Mathematica interface and counts the order of the group of rational points on an elliptic curve with coefficients in Fp and Fpn.
