The FOCUS program offers many perks, such as provided books and materials. However, the FOCUS program does not pay for tuition and fees. To find the cost of a course, contact the appropriate department at your school.
The FOCUS program has an application process for each course offered per semester. Accepted students will be sent the course index number when registration opens. FOCUS students register as usual using the given FOCUS index number.
FOCUS is a grant funded program and thus, must show evidence of the program’s effect on students. Pre- and post-testing allows us to view the change in your content knowledge.

The FOCUS course you are enrolled in might be concentrated on one of those subjects, but we try to infuse our program with study strategies and process standards. We want to evaluate if the course had an impact on all subjects.
Unfortunately, no. A FOCUS participant must enroll for a FOCUS Course.
