Recognizing Vincent Huang and Claire Zhou
Vincent Huang and Claire Zhou are 2014 Mathworks Junior Summer Math Camp alumni that made great achievements at national and international levels:
Vincent Huang became the youngest member in the 2017 USA IMO team, and won a silver medal at the 2017 IMO (International Mathematical Olympiad) for USA. IMO is the highest level mathematics competition for middle and high school students in the world.
At the 9th annual Math Prize for Girls competition held at MIT in September 2017, Claire Zhou became one of the three finishers (tied with two other girls in the first place) and won $15,400 in cash prize. Math Prize for Girls is the highest level mathematics competition for female middle and high school students in USA.
